Douglas E. Fleenor was born in Yuba City, California. Fortunately, his parents moved to Idaho just after his 5th birthday. He graduated from Meridian High School and attended Boise State University, earning his Bachelors in Business Administration in Finance. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Mr. Fleenor worked as a legal assistant with a local law firm and was attracted to the field of law. In 2005, Mr. Fleenor began law school at the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, and graduated in 2008.
While at McGeorge, Mr. Fleenor completed a one-year externship with the Board of Equalization, completed a summer externship with a local family practice attorney, coordinated teams of volunteers for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, and served as president for the Business and Taxation Club. After graduating from McGeorge, Mr. Fleenor accepted an associate attorney position with Burkett Law Office and practices in the area of Estates, Wills, and Probate, Business Formation, Contracts, Family Law, and Litigation. Mr. Fleenor is an active member of the Idaho State Bar, with membership in Taxation, Probate & Trust Law and Family Law. Mr. Fleenor does pro bono work with the Boise Senior Center and the University of Idaho Wills Clinic. |
